Did 70 LT1 have large diameter halve shafts? Was F41 suspension standard?

Does your 70 LT1 have bolted caps for the half shaft u-joints? My 70 (not a LT-1) does and it has the large diameter half shafts. The ZR1, only 25 ordered, came with special springs, front and rear stabilizer bars. The F41 suspension was not a separate option in 1970.

My 70 is a L-46. Looking at possibly adding an LT1. All seems correct, but the suspension and halve shafts appear as my L-46.(standard issue). Couldn't remember if that's right.

To the best of my knowledge, in 1970 there is only one diameter half shaft -- regardless of engine. There are other features -- type of universal joint cap and shot peening -- that are different depending on engine option -- but diameter is not one of the variables.

That's how it is. ALL 1963-74 Corvettes use half shafts of the same tube diameter. The larger tube diameter half shafts did not appear until 1975 and were used for all applications thereafter.
