    1967 red/red

I'm curious if anyone has ever seen this car. 1967 red/red vinyl conv't., 327/350, 4:10 gear, M21. I never recorded the vin anywhere and the only distinguishing parts of this car were the black inserts on the dask knobs and horn ring. They were all painted with silver metal flake clear coat. The motor was a dealer installed 1969 short block. The car was traded to an Illinois dealer in 1971 and I was kind of suprised that I was never contacted by one of the new owners. Probably a triple black big block by now.

Just wondering what may have become of the car and thought someone may want to talk to a previous owner regarding owner history. Thought someone on the board might have seen this car in their travels. You aren't 36 years late because I don't give a hoot about your ride.

William, The only red/red '67 convertible I remember seeing was at a Cypress Gardens NCRS Winter meet in the mid 1980's. Great combination and rare on a '67. Jim Weeks - Member #2978

Jim, thanks for the reply. A red/red 67 isn't exactly a rare beast but I was hoping that the 69 motor or the painted dash knobs may have stirred an old memory for someone. I hate to admit to a new owner of that car that I'm the guy that trashed the original motor.

                Don't feel bad. I was busy trashing a Tri-Power Pontiac. Couldn't afford a Corvette.
