Put my original washer nozzles back on this weekend with all new (correct type) hoses.
I wound up soaking them in a hot CLR solution (the stuff you use for coffee pots) for a couple of hours. Then blew them out with air and checked them out with the butt end of a #67 drill bit(.032)which fit fairly tight. A #65 would have been too tight. Then polished them, and brushed them off with a nylok polishing wheel.
They look brand new, and work much better then the replacements I had on. Thanks to all who gave me advice here.
In taking off the cowl vents and cleaning/refinishing the cowl area, I found this little white/clear plastic bumper, about 5/16" in diameter and 1/16" thick with a flat bottom. Looks like the plastic buttons on top of the distributor shield only slightly larger.
Could this be a bumper associated with the wiper arms (which are right above the cowl vents)?
