C2 Hood Bumpers

I've been working on restoring the hood latch hardware on my 65. After all the work of replating, I want to get this right. I have several original hood bumpers, but they are pretty worn. I ordered some supposedly correct repo hood bumpers from CC. The repos do have the circular indention, but they have the "JR 4137121" on the top of the bumper. My originals have the same logo on the underside and not on top. I'm wondering if perhaps the logo was originally on the top of the bumper, but have just worn off of my originals. I can't believe that CC would go to the trouble of reproducing these and then put the logo in the wrong spot! Thoughts?

Don - Wanna bet????????? I have some NOS 4137121 bumpers I got a number of years ago at the "real" Bloomington and they all have the JR and 4137121 embossed on the bottom around the hole and nothing on the top except for the 5/16" diameter depression in the center of the top. Pete

Thanks Pete. That's exactly the info I was looking for. None of the originals I have ever seen have had the logo on top, but I couldn't discount the possibility that the logo just easily wore off. Amazing that they went to all the trouble of duplicating the logo and then stuck it on the wrong side!
