    Carb wanted

Does anyone know where I can find a 1973 Rochester Quadra-jet #7043201 for my 1973 Coupe?

      Jim,
When I went searching for a factory correct date coded Rochester for my 68 L-79 I found exactly what I needed in Hemmings Motor News. Lots of ads for carburetors in there. Wasn't cheap but it had all the correct part numbers and the correct date code and after I had it rebuilt, it runs perfect.
I think mine came from Texas if I recall correctly.

        Jim,

Try Bob Kunz. He is located in St. Louis, Missouri. He restored a Q-Jet for me & it looks & works like the day it came off of the factory floor (this may not be a good thing if you listen to some). He had dozens of Q-Jets laying around his shop, my guess is he can help you. His phone number is (314) 845-2566.
