This is for a friend who recently purchased a 69 427/390HP A/C convertible. Can someone tell me what the oil dipstick length is? Also,I need to know what one should look like? Such as the exterior handle length and the interior blade length. He got with this car 5 shark hardtops, a 67 vinyl hardtop, and a 63 softop frame: all tops are for sale and will be advertised in the driveline. Thanks for your time. Dick Gutman

The tube is 22" and curved, the dipstick overall length is 27-3/8" from the tip of the shaft to the tip of the handle. The handle is not totally round as seen in so many eBay "NOS" auctions---it begins round where the red button is and then is flat through the loop and then becomes round again when it straightens or about equal to where the red button is. The blade will only have the words ADD and FULL and sometimes an 'M' stamp. No part number and no other words are stamped or engraved on the blade. -
