Ballist Resistor hole yes or no on a '67 TI car

I have a question regarding the ballist resistor mounting hole in the firewall. On a true 1967 390/400/435 hp car WITH transistor ignition, is there still a hole in the fire wall for the ballist resistor or was that drilled on the assembly line if the car was so equipped?
