Hello,
I am looking for somebody located in or near the San Francisco Bay Area who does restoration work on early model Corvettes. I need to have the following work done on my 1960:
1. Replace the dash insert, grab bar, and chrome grab bar end caps located on the passenger side.
2. Install the steering wheel and horn assembly (and paint the steering wheel bell).
3. Paint and install the center console.
4. Install the Wonderbar radio, console plate, and appropriate switches.
5. Recondition and install all of the gauges (speedo, oil, temp, fuel, etc.).
6. Install all of the switches located on the dash (windshield wiper, cigarette lighter, headlights).
7. Install the wiper motor and windshield washer assembly.
8. Install the hood latches.
9. Re-wire the main wiring harness.
10. Install the rear and side windows, and weather-stripping on my hardtop.
I have already purchased all of the necessary parts...I am looking for someone who can do the assembly work.
Your help in finding the right person or shop is greatly appreciated.
Respectfully,
Roger Kinney (NCRS Member #33683)
