1970 LS-5 belts

Does anyone have the gates part # for the belt that runs from the crank,over the water pump amd runs the p/s pump.I have been to the local parts store several times to get the correct belt but have been unable to get the correctone.I dont have an original belt to compare because I just added p/s.

The original belt for the application was GM #3940992. This was an oddball size belt that was a 15/32 X 43-1/2" belt. It was discontinued in 1971.

The current replacement GM belt for the application is GM #9433738. This is a belt of 7/16" X 43". It's still available from GM for a current GM list of $19.10.

The Gates replacement for the above-referenced belts is Gates #87017435.
