    fan clutch

I saw a fan clutch on ebay that was supposed to be a 1966. It had the month day and year( numerical) stamped on the edge of the flange that attaches to the water pump. Did they do this? Dale

Although it is accepted that some were not dated, as a rule they were. Some owners give up looking for the correct date and have the incorrect one removed during restoration.

Mine reads 'SC 5 27 66' lightly stamped on the OD of the flange. (Jul 13, 1966 assembly date for car).

What does the SC stand for? Now I have to go look at my fan clutch. We just got done varifing that the fan was correct for C 60. Dale
