    How does von clean der schtamppf pad mit eine 1985?? I can't get near it. Why, I can't even see it!! Do Ich need von off der fenzzy boroscope thingies.

      Just wait untill you have to change your water pump. You will have to take off enough stuff over the pad just to get the pump off that the pad will have no obstuctiion to seeing what is there.
