I'm doing some dollars per point calculating. I recieved a 10 point originality deduction on my '64 SHP for a servce numbered (2818-1)service dated carb which did not have the original 2818 metering blocks and float bowl screws. That seemed perfectly reasonable to me given that carb originality is 40 points. What do you think the deduct would be for a 100% correct 2818 with the wrong date for the car? I can't seem to get an idea from either the TIM&JG or the Judging Reference Manual.

I agree with John the date would be 20% deduction. The new sheets on later cars they made the date on a seperate line so if this should ever happen on your year it would be 100% deduction on the date line. I know they are trying to get all years to be more the same where they can on the judging sheets. I do not know if or when it might happen.
