'66 REAR SPINDLE REMOVAL

I recently had the right, rear wheel bearing replaced. The rotor on that side has had the rivets removed. I was thinking of removing the spindle from the trailing arm to have the rotor rivetted to the hub as original, which I should have done while it was out. I have the rivets and I know a guy that has a press setup to put them on correctly. How difficult is it to remove it now, and do I need the spindle knock out tool I see advertised to remove it, even though it is freshly installed?

Yes, you need the press out tool. It's a press fit, freshly installed or not.

To be honest, I would not recommend "messing with the rivet installation" at this point.

I suggest that "if it ain't broke don't try to fix it". You could easly damage the new bearing during removal.
