Have a 62 vette with FI, hd suspension and big brakes. It is completely original, but some buggar stole the air scoop off one of the front wheels which funnels air into front brakes. Where can I get replacement brackets?

if you have access to the scoop rubberized material(your request for brackets only leads me to arrive at that conclusion), and all you need is the steel scoop metal framework, just take the remaing original scoop, and using its metal frame as a template, fabricate a new frame for the contralateral missing scoop. they are mirror images and a talented fab shop should have no problem fab'ing what you need. not aware of anyone selling the metal bracketry but there are ncrs members who will sell you one (but will probably insist you take a pair) of repo front scoops. if you want a pair of repos, Jan Quast(spelling) was making them several years ago. good luck. sounds like a neat 62. mike -
