    can someone explain how orange paint ended up on the bottom of the lower control arms from the factory?? brad

    Typically, we see 'daubs' of paint here (varying size/shape) indicating an inspection mark of the assy from the chassis feeder line...

      If it's overspray (from sprayed orange paint, vs. a "daub" like an inspection mark), doubt if it came from the factory; there were no spray operations anywhere near the chassis.
