Back a few months ago I filled out some info about my car on a Big Block registry on Corvette Mikes webpage not realizing what I was doing. Today I got a call from them wanting to buy my car. They made a reasonable offer. Has anyone had any dealing, good or bad, with them? Thank you Bill#44207

No. But I have had a lot of experience participating in such registrys and surveys. Unfortunately they are mostly locating schemes for the dealers. I dont do it any more. BTW, where is the information that I was promised 20+ years ago Mr. Mock. -

Way too much thought & truth here...
... These surveys have shown up off and on for 30 years in NCRS and our hobby. Your innocence and ego cause you to fill them out for "the good of the order"... "Oh, yes, I will report back to you with the results." Many, even well intentioned surveys have resulted in either a sales gimmick, going to the grave with the collector of information, or inaccurate information because the inexperienced owner supplies info that is not documented, other than what they would like to believe. Even Mr Adams surveys are subject to flaw. Some survey info might be published in The Restorer, until the info collector realizes he won't be paid, so it might end up in some other rag that will pay by the column inch, without an editor capable of checking or caring about the accuracy of the content. If I had a real strong opinion about this, I'd go on for a while.Comment

I have sold two cars to them and my experence has been great. They usually have a buyer and find the car the buyer wants. I have not heard anything bad about them. There are not many dealers that I could say that about.Comment

I have a client who bought two cars through them and was very happy with both. I've talked with Jeff Romm in California many times and he seems to be really straight.
The guys from Corvette Mike's in Chicago at Bloomington Gold this year seemed more interested in finding out what I had and if it was for sale. I have received one piece of mail about potential buyers.Comment
