Re: Florida Winter Regional
Did someone say the Mecum auction tent is being moved away from the main grounds for this year?

The Mecum auction is going to be held at Osceola park. It is located about 11 miles or so east on Route 192.I don't think I am going to register this year, the traffic in the Orlando area is something else during the winter and especialy on 192.If there were something I was interested in I would have to keep going back over there till it came up for auction and then maybe even take a chance on missing it.I don't think it's worth the hassle, beside's there will be plenty of car's for sale in the vendor/swap meet area and you don't have to pay the buyer's premium or the seller's premium that way. use Osceola Pkwy instead of 192
it's a toll road that essentially parallels 192, will cost about 2.50 to go that far in about 12 minutes. You can reach it by turning North at the Publix and Walgreens near Old Town and turn Right on the Pkwy at Gaylord Palms hotel.
Good luck,

You are right there is quite a large section of 192 east that is under construction including the area that the auction is to be held at.Oseola parkway is a good alternative though, I tend to forget about that road I geuss because it is kind of out of the way.Tom- Top

Re: Florida Winter Regional
There is construction at the I-4 / 192 interchange also and they are only a little way into it. I expect at the rate of progress I have seen over the last month, it could easily extend to January.
More fun.
Maybe they should hold it at Howey In The Hills.- Top

exit 64 at 192 and I-4 has been under construction since last year. But if you take exit 65 it is much easier. It will put you on Oseola pky. Take that to Gaylord palms make a right at the light and your next light will be 192. just reverse it going back west and it's a breeze.Tom- Top
