Reproduction Stainless Lower Windshield Trim

Does anyone hae any experience with the reproduction lower windshield trim in regards to fit and finish. Unfortunately I have all the original stainless trim for this project except for the lower trim piece and I would like a piece that fits well. I also need it to be able to sand the mating edge of the new front end to fit to that piece.

I purchased a reproduction lower trim piece a few years ago, and could not polish it to the same degree of brilliance as my original stainless pieces. I was lucky enough to find an NOS piece whose lustre matches all the rest of the stainless trim on my 1965 ragtop.
