    Trip Meter reset bracket

Tackling some small jobs on my To Do list for my 1966 L79 convertible.

My car never came with a bracket under the dash to hold the Trip meter reset cable. The cable is stuffed in the back amongst the wiring. I have tried the reset cable and it does reset the Trip meter.

I looked in various Parts cataloges and the AIM and could not see this bracket mentioned any where or a diagram showing the exact placement.

Would someone have a picture as to where exactly it is located and how it is attached, Also how the cable is attached to the bracket.

    Many thanks,

    Nick

      Thanks Don,

My 66 does have Telescopic Steering.

I would appreciate if you could forward those pictures.

does anyone know where I could purchase the Bracket and would you have a part #?

      Regards

If you can send me a picture of the bracket, I might have a bracket, just a slim chance though, Terry
