C1 Heater delete brass plugs

Have a quick question about heater delete plugs.

1. I found at my local hardware store brass block plugs for the
water pump and engine block. I read that the intake manifold plug should be
painted silver. I assume the engine block plug is engine orange. Correct?

2. Do correct plugs have a stamping? Mine has the size in inches stamped
(1/2, 3/8). Are they stamped or not stamped? If not stamped, I'll have to
fill mine in before painting.

my 57 heater delete vette's plugs were not embossed with the pipe size. mike

Where does one find the correct plugs?

Every vendor I call tells me to get them at the hardware store.
