Re: c-3 bumpers
I've used Paul's Chrome out of Evans City, PA. Excellent results, show finish.

Re: c-3 bumpers
I had my front and rear 68 bumpers rechromed and the shop said they would be glad to do SHOW chrome and charge me for it but they cautioned it wouldn't look original as GM did not do SHOW chrome on their vehicles, only street chrome. I had them do the street chrome and they look great, show chrome is too shiny.- Top

show crime too shiny?!
kurt,
unless you are going for a totally original type resto with the original wavy/dull type chrome, i personally cant see spending money (and chrome costs big $$) for this. how can chrome be too shiny? again i know this might go against the judging manual, but when i had my bumpers on my 69 rechromed (think paul's was used) i wanted flawless chrome plating and got it. when i look at vettes at shows, one of the things i look at closely is the chromework. GOOD (shiny) chromework really sets a car apart in my opinion. just my .02 for what its worth........
