NOS trim Rings ??

Anybody know if these are correct and NOS trim rings for a 67 ??

I thought NOS trim rings had the dual bite teeth ?

No they are not correct as original. Original trim rings had only 4 "grippers". Someone else will have to fill in their relationship to the valve stem.

These are GM SERVICE-only trim rings for the 67 Corvette with rally wheel application. The original rings were GM #3901708. These were discontinued in May, 1975 and replaced by the 9796696. Originally, the GM #9796696 were used for some Buick and Pontiac applications.

67 NOS trim rings have 4 clips around the edge on a separate metal ring that is clamped in the stainless beauty ring. One of the clips will be positioned at the valve stem hole. Early service replacements also have the 4 clip configuration but they are NOT positioned at the valve stem hole.
