I would like to have the Aluminum Wheels restored for a 1966 Corvette. Any suggestions on who would be a good choice to do this type of work would be greatly appreciated.

Bob,Not sure where you are. I'm in Boston area and had my rims done by RimPRO Inc.,in Tewksbury, tele 978-851-6080, web is www.rimpro.com. Had rims polished and clearcoated (point loss for that) They look GREAT and easy to care for. Also don't know how you assure they stay on, but I use Locktite #592. I've been told that using some anti seize on matting surface also helps. Good luck -

-------Be aware that polishing original KH knock-off wheels to a high gloss would not be correct. I could try to describe the original state of finish to you all day but you will just have to see an original untouched wheel to actually know. If the company the other poster mentions is aware of the original finish and can duplicate it I would say OK, but an awful lot of wheels have been ruined by over zealous wheel restorers, IMO...........Bill SComment
