Other than the guages themselves what else should be lit on the dash? While driving my recently acquired '67 this evening I noticed the bezel for the heater control knob was lit up but no other bezels. Should the other 5 bezels be lit and if so how do you get to the lights? Is there a light for the ignition switch? The radio was also not lit which I assume would have to be pulled from the dash to get to the light. Thanks for any help.

The radio light is accessed from the left center console panel. The radio does not need to come out.- Top

Re: c2 dash lighting
John,
If by "other five bezels" you are referring to the other five control bezels on an air conditioned car, the light source for these are two lamps that clip onto the clock housing. They each have a "hood" designed to cast a greenish light which is diffused through the polished clear edges of the bezels to light up the wording. As mentioned by others, the ignition switch also has a light, as does the cigarette lighter. The radio lamp is contained in a push-in fixture (there should be a grey or light beige single wire coming from it--the radio housing itself provides the ground).
Good luck,

Re: c2 dash lighting
Here's what the "torpedo" lamp looks like that clips into the slots in the clock receptacle; heater cars just got one, at 6 o'clock, and A/C cars got two more that went in the slots at 4 and 8 o'clock. They won't work until the clock is installed, as they pick up their ground by the upturned end on the clips touching the metal clock case, which is in turn grounded through the clock connector.
