floor mats

I have a 71 b.b. convertible. It has leather interior(dark saddle in color).

My question is what were the factory floormats that came with the car? Also if they were rubber, were they clear or black? I noticed in catalogs these are the 2 colors offered.

Floor mats were dealer option in 67 I think the same for 71. No factory mats were installed, so during judging the car is left a natural.

Actually both black and transparent (or clear) were offered in 1970, and I believe in 1971 also As Kevin pointed out, the mats were a dealer installed option and so we ask the owner to remove them when we are judging the car. Given that, you could use whatever mats suit you so long as you remove them for judging.
