68 435hp expansion tank

Did the 68 435hp, 4-spd, no a/c come with the expansion tank? Should there be a bracket on the right inner fender from factory even if it didn't? What brackets should be on that fender? Thanks...

Don:

My GM parts book lists only for 1968 327 cid (exc. CAC, THM). There is no mention of a 427 cid using a supply tank for this year, that I interpret.

The only 1968 big block that used a radiator supply tank was the L-88. NO other 1968 big block used a supply tank.

For 1969 things changed dramatically. ALL 1969 big blocks used a radiator supply tank.
