A simple little question (I think). I know that there is an inspection label on the side of the heater blower motor, visible from the engine compartment. Isn't there also a second inspection sticker on the heater box itself? Where exactly does this little bugger go?

Yep! Inside sticker goes kinda/sorta anywhere you want it to go. Was put on in a hurry by workers. Mounts on the bottom side of the lower plenum and the originals I've seen (including my own '65) were here/there, cocked askew evidencing no particular pre-defined mounting location except 'on the bottom'.... -
