cilinder heads 3890462

Hello
I have 3890462 heads on the original 1960 CS fuelie engine
(now running with an edelbrock carb and intake and FI distributor (without vac. advance)and running rough at idle)

my question is are these heads useable with the original fuelie unit
because it seems they are not for a 283 engine ???

They're very, very usable with the original fuel injection unit. The combustion chamber is slightly larger than the original heads, so it will slightly drop the compression ratio----less than 1/2 point, I'd say. Otherwise, these heads should work perfectly with FI.
