C1 Muffler and Exhaust Pipe Blackout

When the blackout was done on the 59 mufflers and exhaust pipes were the clamps and manifold nuts black also? Thanks in advance. Jimmy

Mufflers and pipes were all installed except for the short set of pipes that go out through the bumper when the blackout was applied. You can't go wrong for judging by blacking out the entire set of pipes. If you do a good enough job of blacking out the pipes, the judge may not be able to tell if they are aluminized or carbon steel, and you may not take a point deduct for aluminized!
