Re: Bloomington Gold & Top Flight questions

    Randy and others,
It was not my intention to knock Bloomington Gold but to point out that there is a large dollar difference for judging between these two groups. Plus, for many, having your car judged at a Chapter meet can be a short drive whereas Bloomington is only in St.Charles,Il. which is a long distance for most people. Both are fun and enjoyable but Bloomington costs are considerably higher.

      Tom,

Everyone, especially experienced judges, know the manuals are not perfect. It is a continuing process of learning and updating manuals. At a Nationals meet the judges are very experienced, have looked at probably hundreds of cars and recognize that running changes occured. They probably don't know all of them but are aware of many. Don't be worried.

The judges like to learn from the cars.

Keep in mind; the judging manual do recommend giving the benifit of the doubt to the car/owner.
