that is what my kids said when i retired to fla and bought 2 vettes as toys (55 & 65bb). been watching board for a few mos but my conscience wouldnt let me ask question until i joined ncrs. so now i am a new member.(#33609) question-- my 55 had intake # 3844457 which fit but was incorrect (GM8 F164).installed new 3711348 d195 the temp sending unit would not fit and i bought one that was supposed to be for a 55 and came in a box with part no 8933106. this sender fits the old manifold and not the new one. question what is the manifold and the temp sender from and what is the part no of the 55 sender i need. thanks don steele

Don, The 3844457 intake is for a 65 vette with 250 horse and a WCFB carb. I can' help on the other question. -
