I'm putting an ad together for the Driveline for a set of ex/manifolds for my 67 400HP. DOB 12-10-66. Am I correct in asking fo the following: RH 3880828,LH 3880827 with casting dates K156 to K306 or L16 to L76 ? Do the dates have to match for LH and RH or are made at differt times? Also the NCRS Spec. Guide mentions that some manifolds may not be dated, what percent were and were not dated.Lots of questions but I know there are correct answers, I learn something new every time I log on. Thanks to you all Steve S.

Re: Exhaust manifolds/C2
Steve------
Any date which is 6 months or less prior to the engine build date is acceptable as far as judging considerations. The dates on the manifolds do not have to "match". In PRODUCTION the dates rarely matched on both manifolds. I don't know what percentage of the manifolds were dated. Keep in mind, also, that these dates, when present, are on the INSIDE (i.e. towards the engine) side of the manifolds. They are difficult or impossible to see with the manifolds installed on the car.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
