    How confident are you that your ballast resistor is original? What month was your car built?

      Build date Jan. 6 I should have qualified "Org." Since I have only owned this 67 for 6 mo. I can not verify it was on the car in 67. Only that visually it looks correct.

        My limited understanding of how to get this to stop from being judged incorrectly, is to bring evidence, such as these testimonials from other Corvette owners to a Local or Regional Judging meet, and present to the Judging Chairman, who can submit the information for potential Judging manual changes.

            Joe,
            There is a resistor on E-bay that shows the tab clearly. My friends 64 "Survivor" tab is more faint and therefor more difficult to detect. Thanks for the education!!

              My June built '66 small block resistor does not have a tab and appears to be original to the car.
