Big brake 1960 question

A friend of mine has a 60 with big brakes and FI. Before he bought it he had known the owner back to 1971. The car at one time had a 2 point roll bar in it. He is wanting to put back the right dated rear end in the car and is wanting to know whether this car could have been 3 70, 4 11, or 4 56. He thought since it had a 2 point roll bar it might have been raced on a certain type of race course. Any sugestions on the right gear ratio? thanks john

any of the ratios you mention, as well as others, would have been available in 1960. fact that it had a roll bar has nothing to do with the way the car was ordered from chevy. a previous owner installed the roll bar. good luck with the ole girl. mike
