63-67 ball joint part numbers
Peter,
Several years ago Joe Lucia posted a very detailed history of Corvette ball joint part numbers, starting with either 1965 (or it might have been from 1963) and going up thru 1982 (I think). You should be able to find his posting in the archives if you search on his name and ball joints.
Regarding Scott's posting about "original" style ball joints from America's Finest Corvettes, Joe has said that these reproductions appear about 90% correct, so if you're after 100% correct, NOS is the only option. These show up on e-bay fairly often, although they can be somewhat pricy, although remember the GM list price was on the order of $80 or $90 each before they were discontinued some years ago, so paying $500 for a set of 4 NOS GM ball joints is not that far out of line.
