Is there a way to tell what T.I.distributor one has if the Identification Band is missing. Thanks for the help.

It's theoretically possible, but it's very, very difficult. One would need to be able to identify the vacuum control (easy if the unit on the distributor is original) AND the auto cam, springs, and weights (all are not so easy to ID).
