I need the GM part number for the fan clutch for a 327 365 hp engine. By checking the internet and the judging manual I have found the part number 3916141 is for big block engines and will have the letters (ck) stamped in black. The fan clutch for the small block will have the letters (cj) stamped in black. There is also according to the judging manual a difference in the shaft length. Thanks for any help.

Re: C2 Need GM fan clutch part number 1965 Corvett
Dennis-----
The original part number for the 1965 small block fan clutch was GM #3814137 or GM #3814560. Both clutches were used; the '137' is a Sweitzer-manufactured unit and the '560' is an Eaton-manufactured unit.
This is a fairly academic point, though, as both of these are long since discontinued and replaced by the 3916141. In a NEW fan clutch, the 3916141 is as close as you can come to original configuration. You may be able to obtain a rebuilt original clutch from a source like Fred Oliva, though. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

And if that's the direction you are going (the current part) it seems to be available again from GMPD (it had been out of stock and some folks were speculating as to its continued availability)
3916141 Engine Air Cooling Fan Clutch CLUTCH 1 $112.12
Plus the S&H of course, which adds ~ $25 for me (in CT) from Flow Chevy down in Winston-Salem (oh, did I just disclose the true identity of GMPD?? )65 MM Convertible, L76 (365 hp)- Top
