Hi,
A quick question about mid-year fiberglass colors - I couldn't find anything in the archives. I may be mistaken but I thought all 63 and till late 64 used a cream colour glass. My local Corvette expert who is helping me restore my very late 64 (which seems a mixture of cream and grey that the 65's had - mostly grey, don't know if these are all original parts or not) and he also indicates that 63/64 was cream.
I've looked in Corvette parts catalogs like Corvette Central and they list 63-65 original glass colour as "white", 66 as grey and 67 as black. In fact the various parts I've seen are that 63, till late 64 are cream, late 64, 65 and some 66 are grey, and 67 a very dark grey or 'black'.
So a couple of questions:
1) was there any white colored glass for early 63? I was going to sell some left over parts that are cream colored and described them as for 63 to late 64.
2) is it possible my car (120835) originally equipeed with some cream, some grey glass? It came originally with 6 hole sills rather than 4.
Thanks,
Lawrence
