I was reading Kurt's thread on dielectric grease and it occured to me that the expertise here could guide how to deal with my compressor contacts that have seized. Actually, how to prevent it that's possible. They stick together but I've been successful in unsticking. I installed a circuit breaker box so when it acted up...it got turned off at the circuit box. Obviously the fix is to replace the contacts but what causes it in the first place? The 60 gallon tank, 6.5 hp dual cylinder motor, 220 unit sits in a shed but rather subject to the elements. I've used Corrossion HD but probably to late...suggestions appreciated.
