What do these option codes from a GM Canada document/option list mean? The car is a '71 454.

F62 Front Spring - Computer Selected
G32 Rear Spring - Computer Selected
(and what is the significance of the description "computer selected"?

Those are the codes for the standard springs, front coils and rear leaves. A two letter code follows the F62 and G32 to designate the particular usage.

Such as F62HV and G32EA means heavier duty units for big block or LT-1 small block.

F62EA and G32EB means H.D. units for SHP racing package such as ZR-1 for LT-1.

Z49...was extra fuel added because the car was being delivered to Canada

I believe Z49 also consisted of a greater concentration of antifreeze as well.
