take a look at this picture. are these numbers some kind of date "256 OD8 ??

The "256" appears to be a julian casting date of some sort; the other line is a foundry pattern number identifier. There's no mention of a date in the '67 JG.

That's a good price on the one in the auction (unless it gets into a sniping battle at the end); bails are wrong, however.
