I have the original spiral shocks for my '56 that appear to be fuctional enough to put on for judging only. In the process of cleaning, priming and repainting I noticed one of the front shocks had remnants of a yellow inspection mark at the end near the inner stem. Is this typical? I see no mention of inspecting for this during regional and national judging.
