    C3 weatherstrips

There seems to be a lot of bad weatherstrips out there for the C3's. The stuff I have for this 1982 is very stiff compared to the original ones. Where can one get weatherstrips for these cars that fits well and also allows the window to go up easily. I have the window adjusted perfectly and will fit properly if the window is up before shutting the door. However, when the door is closed the window will not go up all the way. It appears to be the stiff weatherstrip.
    Ideas? (besides hand granades)

    Re: C3 weatherstrips

I purchased my weatherstrips for my 68 from Dr. Rebuild in Bridgeport Connecticut. Looked exactly like the original stuff I removed and fit perfect. I don't know who the manufacturer is but so far I am pleased. Don't know if the new stuff we are installing will last as long as the old stuff I took out (37 years) but I probably won't be around to worry about it in 37 years so what the heck.
I haven't yet done the window adjusting procedure. Can you elaborate on that as regards difficulty in getting everything to fit tight?
    Thanks,
