Noland Adams paired up with the USPS to help unveil the new commemorative stamp series of classic cars. As many probably know, he provided technical advice on the illustrative details of a 1953 used in the stamp.
On Sunday, representatives of the post office showed up with stamp sets for sale. If desired, they would cancel the stamps with a unique mark from the Carlise post office and Sunday's date. This provided a nice commemorative touch when combined with enlarged versions of the stamp that were signed by Noland on the spot. His original '53 was there as well.
Thanks to all including Corvette Central who provided some of their vendor space for the event.
