Goat Hill Classics?

I met Paul from GHC at Carlisle this past weekend. He says he has an original '480 water pump pulley at his shop in CA. which I need. I originally gave him cash for this part with his promise to ship as soon as he got back.

I related the story to a few of my friends and more than one recommended I go get my money back due to delivery problems with this vendor. When I went back to get my money he asked why, and after he gave me my cash back I told him about the thread on this board recently regarding his delivery 'issues'.

He seemed genuinely surprised that he had this reputation and told me if I knew anyone that had not received purchased product from him, he wanted to know it.

This seems to be a good opportunity for him to make things right and get his rep back in order. So if anyone has an issue sound off, maybe we can get a few things resolved.

BTW; if anyone lives near him and is willing to pick up this pulley and ship to me, I will be very grateful.

Need a favor....Next time you talk with Paul, mention my name. He still owes me about $65 for a dated water pump that I returned to him. He ignores all inquires about this issue.
Lets see how anxious he is to settle old debts!

I had sent Goat Hill Classics money for a starter( can not remember for sure if that is what it was)? Six months later after never returning most of my phone calls I finally got my money back. That was first and last dealings with them. Delt with John Pirkle, no problems at all, a great guy to do business with. Joe
