    what weight oil to use?

    i have a C3 car 350cu in......i run straight 30 weight oil in it. what weight oil do you guys run in your engines. is there any reason to run multi-weight oils in a car that is only driven in mild weather? just curious....rick

    Hi Rick,
    I would recommend using 10w-30w oil if your just using your 73 in mild weather conditions. The 10w will get up the valve train quicker when the engine is cold and the 30w will help under normal driving conditions. If you drive your car under hot weather or high speed driving you should use 10w-40w or 20w-50w. Also if you want to run your car, when all it does is sit in the garage, use 5w-30w, it gets to the valve train real quick.
