    Hi Ron:

    I researched this a few months ago, and you can probably find the thread by searching the archives. There were different versions of the "Argent Silver" used over the years, but the version used in 1967 was the one *without* the green tint.

    I compared the paint sold by several Corvette venders, and found quite a variation. In my opinion the best match to what I believe was the original color is the #1120 Argent Silver sold by OEM Paints at 760-747-2100. Unfortunately, this paint is very expensive at $28 per can (you will need two cans to do 5 wheels).

    The #10001Z Argent Silver sold by Eastwood (www.eastwood.com) was a close second choice and is far less expensive at $10/can. It is a bit more glossy than the OEM Paints version.

      3 or 4 articles on all facets of this in the Restorer, all done by Wendell Hans. Within the last 3(?) years.
