    RM Auction

Anybody know what the 68 L89 sold for?

I went over to England to look at this car twice!..A race car all of its life the odometer showed about 4300 miles a few years ago when I last saw it...in pieces.

A real deal car featured in Corvette news back about '73.

Also..One of... if not the first... Dick Gulstrand shop built race cars in Culver City..as I recall my converstaion with Dick years ago.

They don't appear to be updating their web site as the cars go through the block, so I guess we'll just have to wait until someone who attended reports in.

I understand the second half of the auction is tonight. The '63 Z-06 convert. was a low lot number, so I expect it was on-stage last night.

John..sounds like the low end of the estimate..but still very serious money for a production car. Any idea who the new owner is?

          Joe -

Nope, don't know who the new owner might be - maybe someone who was there will know.

I do not believe the car was sold at that figure (reserve not met), at least that was what I understood. The high bidder was a NCRS member.
