    63 roadster decklid latches

    63 assembly manual, Section 1 sheet B16. Item 8 (striker) is attached to the rear quarter panel with screws. The screws thread into a metal plate (3.5" x 3.25" x .125")on the other side of the fiberglass. The metal plate is not identified in the AIM or in parts catalogs (CC, LIC). Is the fastener plate available or do I have to cut and thread one myself?

      Corvette America has them. Part # 31188 (Latch - $12 Each List) and 35232 (Screws $3 - Set).
