    C2 sun visor screws

Can someone clear up ? on correct fasteners for attaching/tightening visor on support rod.? Paragon catalog pg. 107 shows kit 4 screws + 4 nuts. I thought the double sided slot screw was correct.(I know I have to alter a screwdriver to fit).. If so where can I order some of interlocking screws? I tried the all the catalogs, Could not find them. Regards, Don

Paragon or Corvette Central should have what you need.

      Don,

I think what you are calling a double sided slot screw, at least the female portion, is what Paragon calls a special nut. The special nut is what you need the altered screwdriver to tighten. You could also use a tack puller or a mini wonderbar nail puller, instead of the altered screwdriver, to tighten the special nut.

mini wonder bar nail puller - is that what I and my pals in the roofing - carpentry trades call a "cats paw"?

            Jack,

Similar, but with a flat paw, like used for carpet or upholstery tacks. The notch spans the hole for the screw, and the wedge engages the slots in the special nut. Boy, are we getting technical here!
